She acquired her diploma for artist painter in Finland. Having lived in many different countries she now lives and works in Switzerland and exhibits internationally.

The omnipresent flow, endless movement of the creative energy of the universe fascinates her; from her childhood in Finland she kept strong memories of the clear and star covered winter sky, or of skiing on a lake observing polar lights floating above the near horizon.  They felt almost ‘living‘…

Most important in her painting is light and movement and she often combines figurative elements with abstract expression to reinforce a contemplative momentum; the silence of an old church, a dream, flowers by a fountain, a flash of light on the surface of the lake… a surprising moment when the mist leaves, gradually emerging an island in a horizon that one even did not know was there.
