Anouck Jourdaa Noon was born in Paris, France in 1978. She studied fine arts and completed a Masters in education in Bordeaux, France. She currently paints, surfs and teaches math in Miami. Her original work celebrates the joy of being a woman by blending playful sensual women with semi-abstract shapes that are part of her everyday life. Her compositions draw elements from Cubism, Fauvism, Art-Deco and Pop Art, with a personal interpretation of Matisse, Gauguin, Picasso, Klimt and Miro’s colors and structures. Over the past 17 years, her work has been acknowledged in the cities where she has lived and she has had exhibitions in Biarritz, Paris, Atlanta and Miami. Her work was featured at the Artclub Gallery rue de Rivoli in Paris. She exhibited for Art Basel Red Dot for 3 consecutive years. Her giant sculpture ‘Pursing Lips’ was displayed at Key West Arts Festival, as well as at Bayfront Park in Miami with the collective group Giants in the City. She painted a thirty-foot container for the first edition of West palm Beach 2016 art fair curated by Danieli Artworld. For Art Basel 2017, the Tranter-Sinni Gallery exhibited two of her sculpture collaborations at Aqua in south Beach. She exhibited at the FIAC at the Carrousel de Louvre in Paris, October 2018.
