Collection: Novossadiouk Sviatoslav

Novossadiouk  Sviatoslav  was born in 1971 in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg).

In 1996 he was graduated from the Academical Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E.Repin. In 1997 he is a member of Artist’s Union of Russia. Novossadiouk Sviatoslav from his childhood was inspired of the nature of Karelian peninsula, pines, stones and sandy beaches of Finland Gulf. There he had much of unforgettable travellings. Gallen-Kallela  illustrations to Kalevala, close to Russian Silvery Age of art deeply inspired Sviatoslav as well from his early childhood. Sviatoslav searched for this severe, exact, ascetic  beauty in the nature of Finland when painting his landscapes. Some places in Central Finland and North Karelia have magical attraction on him.May be the most important his work is ”First rays of the sun”, admired portrait of one of such magical places. From 2000 professional activity and development of artist were mostly joint with Finland.
